Five Stars for the Lone Star State

This book is a riot! I don't think I've laughed so hard in a long time. Definitions--and even a guide to Texan pronunciations--are funny, imagination, and maybe even true. Even after reading it over and over again, I'm still not sure if the author is putting me on or serious--and I'm not willing to risk ridicule by writing and asking him, though he sounds like he'd probably answer. As a guide book, this Texan tome tells you how to pronounce words like a Texan does so you won't feel out of place when you visit. It also gives you a smattering of history that even kids will love to listen to. I highly recommend this book for anyone considering a visit to Texas, and it ought to be required reading for every new resident.
